Completion requirement
Complete ALL of the following Courses:

A maximum of five credits in these courses counts toward your 30-credit requirement: NRES 750, NRES 791, NRES 794, and NRES 795

Complete a Thesis
  1. Complete a thesis. Your thesis will be based on an independent research project conducted under the supervision of your graduate adviser and graduate committee.

  2. You must enroll for at least 3 thesis (NRES 799) credits during each semester you are a full-time student. A maximum of 6 thesis credits (NRES 799) count toward your 30-credit requirement.

  3. Submit a bound and electronic copy of your approved thesis to the University Library.

Complete a comprehensive final oral examination

You must take a comprehensive final oral examination conducted by your graduate committee which includes questions on your thesis and on your courses.
